The Heart Behind Ministering Mamas
A story of brokenness, surrender, and a God who turns ashes into purpose.
How This All Began
Ministering Mamas was born out of the hardest season of Maranda Black's life. She was completely broken and overwhelmed, praying for God to fix everything around her. Yet instead of changing her circumstances, He used that season to transform her heart.

When she reached rock bottom, God planted a seed of purpose in the middle of her brokenness. He drew her closer to Him than ever before — closer than she'd ever been — and showed her that true healing comes through surrender. As she gave her struggles and her life fully to Him, He began rebuilding her from the inside out. Through that process, He revealed something profound: her purpose was not just to overcome her struggles, but to use them to help others.

Through that journey, God made it unmistakably clear: mamas need other mamas. We need encouragement, support, prayer, and a community that consistently points us back to Jesus. Ministering Mamas was created from that divine calling — to inspire, encourage, and support moms in all of life's seasons as they walk through its trials and joys, and to help them discover the hope, healing, and purpose that can only be found in Christ.

Meet Maranda
Maranda Black is the founder of Ministering Mamas — a mama herself who knows firsthand how hard, beautiful, messy, and miraculous motherhood can be. After walking through her own season of deep brokenness, Maranda surrendered her life fully to Christ and discovered a calling she never could have planned: to reach other mamas and remind them they are never too broken for God's grace.

Maranda's heart is to build a community where mamas feel safe to be real — where faith is the foundation and encouragement flows freely. She believes with her whole heart that God does His best work in our weakest moments.
